Position Summary
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Radiologist to provide inpatient, on-site diagnostic imaging services at a hospital-based practice in Wesley Chapel and St. Petersburg, Florida. This position focuses on high-quality, timely imaging interpretation in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities

Interpret a broad range of inpatient diagnostic imaging studies, which may include X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy, based on training and credentialing.

Provide imaging coverage for inpatient units and the emergency department.

Communicate findings clearly and promptly with referring physicians and care teams.

Participate in on-site radiology coverage during scheduled shifts.

Ensure accurate, timely, and complete reporting in the radiology information system and electronic health record.

Adhere to departmental protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and performance improvement activities.

Support patient safety initiatives and evidence-based imaging practices.

Requirements
Education and Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.

Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program.

Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.

Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure.

DEA registration or eligibility, if required.
