Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and help create a welcoming, spotless environment for our residents and guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across residential or hospitality spaces, ensuring every corner reflects our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, sanitizing bathrooms, and managing waste disposal properly
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and floor care procedures to keep surfaces pristine
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
- Assist with meal preparation or light cooking tasks as needed to support household or hospitality operations
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe environment for all
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, janitorial work or commercial cleaning environments
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry management
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously with residents or guests
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Experience with custodial responsibilities or housekeeping management is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality standards is advantageous
- Basic cooking skills are desirable to assist with light meal preparation when necessary
