We are seeking a friendly and detail oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, have great situational awareness, remain receptive/trainable as we are all life long learners in dentistry and assist in maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment. Provide preventive dental services while actually getting to know your patients with very accommodating appointment lengths!! Educate patients on various topics in oral health, and have the support to grow and thrive in your field. No sales gimmicks, quotas or pushy treatments, we simply want you to treat your patients right. Your proficiency will help promote healthy smiles and foster positive patient experiences in a no drama, family friendly environment. We are committed to empowering our staff with the tools and support needed to excel and grow professionally. New graduates are welcome! We have worked with several newly graduated hygienists and typically give more time as you get started to allow you to work up to regular appointment times. We have many well experienced veteran hygienists that can help guide you if you desire.

Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and calculus buildup.
- Take and evaluate vital signs such as blood pressure/pulse to assess patient health status.
- Assist with medical imaging procedures (PA, BWX, Panoramic, and CBCT) ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong oral health.
- Preparing instruments, materials, and maintaining a sterile environment using aseptic techniques.
- Manage patient dental records within Dentrix for accurate documentation, proper dental coding, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain infection control standards by adhering to sterilization procedures and infection prevention protocols within the dental office setting.
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members in a general dentistry setting.
