Sheetfed Offset UV Pressman at LPI in New Berlin, WI, 2nd Shift
LPI provides: Offset printing, Foil Stamping, Embossing, Digital Enhancement, Die Cutting, Folding and Gluing, Rigid Box manufacturing, and Fulfillment. This is an On-Site position at our New Berlin, WI facility.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sheetfed Offset UV Pressman to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Heidelberg presses equipped with FoilStar technology and will be responsible for producing high-quality printed materials using UV offset processes. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain Heidelberg sheetfed offset presses with UV curing systems.
- Utilize FoilStar cold foil technology for specialty print applications.
- Ensure accurate color matching and quality control throughout the production run.
- Perform routine press maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Monitor production schedules and meet deadlines for second shift operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and minimize waste.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating sheetfed offset presses, preferably Heidelberg. Will consider KBAs and Komoris.
- Experience with UV printing processes and FoilStar cold foil systems required.
- Strong understanding of color theory, ink systems, and pressroom operations.
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets and technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work second shift and occasional overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity for detailed work.
