Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our facilities, residents, and visitors. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, windows, and surfaces
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks, including washing floor with auto scrubber.
- Conduct regular floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Ensure all areas of the facility are clean and free of hazards
- Respond promptly to any facility issues or concerns
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and practices
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Experience with floor care and buffing equipment
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning methods and practices
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to work schedules
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning methods and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times
- Willingness to perform additional tasks as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
