Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans
- Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health practices, and self-care routines
- Maintain accurate documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment details
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health regulations and CPR standards
- Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns promptly
Skills
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and general massage therapy techniques
- Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Ability to perform patient assessments accurately to tailor treatments effectively
- Knowledge of pain management strategies and occupational health principles
- Experience working in med spas or similar wellness environments is preferred
- CPR certification and familiarity with safety protocols are required

Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour
