Responsibilities
- Perform tire replacements, rotations, balancing, and repairs with precision and efficiency
- Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs using appropriate tools and techniques
- Assist with wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks
- Inspect vehicles for maintenance needs, including brake checks, suspension, and other routine services
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
Skills
- Dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during tire installations or other maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of oil change procedures, wheel alignment processes, and tire service techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Service technician experience is a plus; a willingness to learn is essential for growth in this role
