Delivery Driver
Location: Wilmington, Delaware
Hours: 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM (10-hour shifts, full-time and part-time available)
Major Xpress Logistics LLC, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), is hiring dedicated and customer focused package delivery drivers. We are looking for friendly, reliable individuals with strong problem solving skills to join our growing team. Job Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide high quality customer service
- Load and organize packages efficiently in the delivery vehicle
- Operate company provided delivery vehicles safely and responsibly
- Follow company safety, delivery, and quality standards
- Navigate routes in all weather conditions (rain, snow, extreme heat)
- Work independently while meeting delivery deadlines
- Communicate with dispatch and management as needed
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license (no probationary licenses)
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
- Able to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs (hand trucks provided)
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Smartphone required for route communication
- Punctuality, dependability, and team-oriented mindset are essential
