Role Description
This is a remote contract position for a Speech Language Pathologist. The SLP will work with K-12 students to:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations (must provide own testing materials/tools)
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders, etc.
- Document progress and maintain detailed records
- Collaborate with school teams to ensure student success
- Educate students and families on effective communication strategies
Qualifications
- Valid and current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (West Virginia, New Hampshire, Missouri, Arizona and Oregon)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
- Proficient in developing and executing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school-based or teletherapy setting
- Reliable internet connection
- Ability to independently manage documentation and assessments
- Must have access to standardized testing materials for evaluations
