About the student
- adult student
- The student is a 63 year old attending Caron Newman University and needs to work with a tutor for help becoming a nurse practitioner.
- Student is requesting a tutor who is either a doctor, nurse practitioner, or physician's assistant in order to meet the needs of the class she is taking.
- She has to record herself doing a head to toe physical examination for her class and wants a tutor's assistance in how to do this.
- The goal is for the student to have a full understanding on what it takes to become a nurse practitioner.
- The student is asking for 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, either between 6pm-10pm any day Monday through Friday or between 3pm-10pm on Saturday or Sunday.
- The student is seeking a tutor who can meet at her home in Savannah not far from Oglethorpe Charter School and Allen E Paulson Park.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates have prior experience working with adult students.
- Ideal candidates will have a strong nursing background and ideally be a nurse practitioner.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience tutoring or nursing.
- Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Student Availability
MON-FRI: 6:00pm-10:00pm
SAT-SUN: 3:00pm-10:00pm
Pay & Benefits
- $30.00-$32.00 per hour
