Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate licensed mental health professional to join our dynamic team in providing comprehensive behavioral health services. Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy.
- Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to support clients experiencing acute mental health challenges or co-occurring disorders.
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions, maintaining accurate medical records within EMR/EHR systems.
- Engage in case management activities, including patient care coordination, follow-up assessments, and progress monitoring.
- Facilitate specialized interventions such as grief counseling, addiction counseling, child & youth therapy, autism spectrum disorder support, and behavior management programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care that addresses medical terminology nuances and ICD coding requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Demonstrated skills in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, EMDR, or other therapy modalities
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with clinical documentation standards, treatment planning processes, and medical records management using EMR/EHR systems.
- Ability to conduct mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations for diverse populations including pediatrics through adults.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, clinical ethical guidelines, and evidence-based practices in mental health counseling.
