We are currently looking for a proactive Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to manage site operations at a premier manufacturing firm known for its commitment to excellence, creative solutions, and high staff retention.
This position offers a rare chance to take on a prominent leadership role following a planned retirement. You will enjoy a comprehensive handover period, working alongside the outgoing supervisor to gain deep institutional knowledge before taking full command of the department.
Core Responsibilities-
Direct daily maintenance activities while providing guidance to a Facilities Maintenance Technician.

Ensure building systems—such as electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and safety infrastructure—remain fully operational.

Establish and oversee preventative maintenance schedules to help improve overall equipment reliability and uptime.

Manage external service providers and contractors to ensure all tasks are finished safely and within established timelines.

Assist with maintaining facility records, permit management, building audits, and adherence to OSHA standards.

Address immediate facility concerns and develop permanent fixes to help minimize future operational disruptions.

Monitor service logs, maintenance spending, and the quality of work provided by vendors.
Required Qualifications-
At least five years of experience in building operations or facilities maintenance within a manufacturing setting.

Demonstrated history of leading or supervising staff.

Comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.

Proven background in managing vendor relationships and implementing maintenance programs.

Working knowledge of facility compliance, safety inspections, and OSHA guidelines.

Practical, hands-on ability to diagnose issues and work with minimal supervision.

Willingness to assist with emergency facility needs or after-hours requirements as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications-
Relevant technical certification or an Associate degree.

Background in overseeing maintenance costs or departmental budgets.

Experience operating within a small to mid-sized manufacturing facility.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000
