Wiring Technician
Location: Fairfield, OH
Pay: $17.00 – $21.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime as Needed
Crown Staffing is hiring in Fairfield, OH for a Wiring Technician. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented candidate who enjoys hands-on electrical assembly work, building control panels, and supporting automated equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role focuses on assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components to ensure safe, accurate, and reliable operation of equipment used in production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring layouts
- Assemble and wire control panels, junction boxes, and machine components
- Install electrical devices such as relays, sensors, push buttons, drives, PLC modules, and HMIs
- Route, secure, and label wiring to maintain clean and organized builds
- Perform point-to-point wiring checks for accuracy and safety
- Test finished assemblies and identify any wiring issues
- Troubleshoot and correct electrical assembly problems as needed
- Support engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist with documentation updates and process improvements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or machine build preferred
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation or PLC systems is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, and work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Strong hand-eye coordination for detailed wiring tasks
- Ability to work overtime when required
