Overview
ELD is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to manage a portfolio for high-end residential, commercial and HOA clients. The candidate will possess excellent communication and time management skills along with landscape and snow industry experience to deliver top quality service to our clients.
This position will be the client's point of contact with all ELD internal departments and subcontractors required to service the account. The position requires professionalism, integrity, and keen attention to detail. ELD's reputation for excellence cannot be compromised.
Responsibilities:
- Act as primary point of contact with the client, building long-term relationships.
- Manage and coordinate maintenance, enhancement and snow event schedules, logistics, and budgets.
- Coordinate with the client, other ELD departments, subcontractors, and others as needed.
- Attend HOA board meetings.
- Perform site visits to monitor quality of services being provided, and correct quality deficiencies to ensure that all services and projects meet ELD standards.
- Instruct, mentor and lead your crews assigned to your portfolio.
- Ensure that all crews are operating efficiently.
- Operate trucks and equipment as needed.
- Create and deliver bids, proposals, and change orders.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and submit receipts to the office.
- Assist in the job costing of your portfolios services and projects to maintain the desired margins.
- Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of landscape and snow industry supervisory experience with a minimum of 2 years in an account management role.
- Knowledge of horticulture best practices, plant material, grading & drainage, low voltage lighting, hardscaping and irrigation.
- Knowledge of snow industry best practices, SIMA or ASCA certifications a plus.
- Strong professional communication skills.
- The ability to teach and lead others.
- Time management skills and an ability to prioritize tasks.
- Organized and calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid and clean driver's license, a CDL is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work in all-weather conditions.
- Office and administrative work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., kneel and bend, stand/walk on uneven terrain for extended periods of time, use hand tools and utilize PPE.
- Weekend and evening work to meet with clients and meet project deadlines may be required. (Snow operations take place 24/7)
Benefits and Salary Range:
- $60,000 to $ 65,000 per year
