Join our ReStore team as a Pickup & Delivery Person and Sales Associate, where you'll be delivering exceptional customer experiences both in-store and through efficient pickup and delivery services. Responsibilities
- Primary duty will to be helping to load/unload furniture during pickups and deliveries and also loading furniture into customers vehicles when they purchase items.
- Assist customers on the sales floor by providing product demos, answering questions, and guiding them through their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card payments
- Stock shelves, move heavy furniture out to the sales floor, merchandise displays, and organize products to maintain an attractive and organized store environment
- Manage inventory levels through merchandising and stocking activities to ensure product availability
- Coordinate pickup orders with customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery or pickup of items
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone etiquette to confirm appointments, provide updates, or address inquiries
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Requirements
- Prior retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math to process transactions confidently
- Strong communication skills are important
- Experience with grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift 70 pounds throughout shifts; comfortable working in fast-paced settings
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette
