Job Description:
We're looking for a friendly, organized Hostess/Host to be the first face our guests see! If you love creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to have you join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and make them feel welcome
- Manage the waitlist and seating chart to ensure smooth, efficient seating
- Accurately estimate wait times during busy periods
- Escort guests to tables and present menus
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating flow
- Keep the host stand, waiting area, and entrance clean and organized
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism, escalating to a manager when needed
- Assist with light side work as needed (menus, silverware rolls, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Prior hosting, serving, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays a plus
