Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and maintaining an efficient flow of customers in the restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services.
Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive with a warm and inviting demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate wait times to guests and provide updates as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Utilize Aloha POS system to manage seating charts and track guest preferences.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members.
- Demonstrated phone etiquette and professionalism in all interactions.
