Position Summary
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Paralegal who is passionate about the law and committed to serving clients with professionalism and care. Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Conduct client intake interviews and maintain ongoing client communication in English and Spanish
- Manage and organize case files, deadlines, and calendars using legal technology platforms
- Perform legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
- Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and third parties on scheduling and filings
- Assist attorneys in preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials
- Maintain confidential client records in compliance with firm policies and ethical standards
- Utilize case management software, e-filing systems, and other legal tech tools
Qualifications
Required:
- Paralegal certificate, Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, or equivalent legal education (newly licensed candidates welcome)
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish — written and spoken
- Proficiency with technology: legal software, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and e-filing portals
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred (but not required):
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal setting
- Familiarity with case management platforms such as Clio, MyCase, or similar
- Experience with document automation or AI-assisted legal research tools
- Knowledge of court procedures and legal filing requirements
