Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, Ownership

Acts as temporary quality representative on the production floor, ensuring continuity of inspections, documentation, and line support during technicians’ absences.

Coach production operators on conformity of product.
-
Coach production personnel on Good Documentation Practices. Make corrections immediately at the source.
-
Coach “retail readiness” to the production personnel.
- Perform testing of finished goods per written test method procedures and guidelines. Test methods may include the following:
- Side Seam Bond Strength
-
Tab Shear and Peel Strength
-
Elastic Creep and Elongation
-
Dimensional Measurements
-
Visual Defects
-
Immediately report defects to the Production/Quality Group Leaders. Production/Quality Group Leaders will be responsible for reporting to Management any other issue which could jeopardize customer satisfaction.

Provide assistance and guidance to quarantine any product suspect of being defective.

Enter test data in Quality databases, when applicable
-
Observe Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety procedures.

Complete special assignments delegated by the Quality Group Leader.
Education and Experience:
-
High school diploma or GED required
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken

Must maintain all training requirements of the quality line technician

Must be able to read and interpret work documents

Must have the ability to work in teams

Must have the ability to perform basic math

Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes

Must have normal mobility, strength, dexterity, visual, and auditory abilities. Must be able to stand and/or walk for a long period of time.

Must be able to work overtime or on a different shift if required.

Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Computer and statistical skills as applicable to quality control inspection in the manufacturing field.
