Lawn Technician / Landscape Crew Member
Rucon, Inc. is seeking dependable, hardworking Lawn Technicians to join our growing commercial landscaping team. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance, health, and safety of commercial properties through high-quality landscape maintenance services. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, work well as part of a team, and are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine commercial landscape maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and litter pick up.
- Maintain shrubs, hedges, groundcover, and ornamental plants through proper pruning and trimming techniques.
- Assist with seasonal landscape enhancements, mulching, planting, and property cleanups.
- Safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, and other power equipment.
- Identify and report irrigation issues, plant health concerns, safety hazards, or property damage to the Crew Leader.
- Load, unload, and properly care for tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
- Follow assigned routes and complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing Rucon, Inc.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial landscaping, lawn maintenance, or a related outdoor labor position is preferred but not required.
- Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and equipment.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
- Reliable transportation to the designated meeting location.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work well with a team.
- Must pass Background Check
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred. Opportunities for advancement are available for qualified drivers and future crew leaders.
