We’re hiring a Personal Care Assistant for a 31-year-old man with developmental disabilities who thrives with consistency, structure, and familiar faces. He lives at home in a lower-level apartment with family upstairs. He enjoys puzzles, walks, swimming, boating, and Disney movies.
What You’ll Do
- Provide personal care including meal prep, bathroom assistance, and maintaining a daily schedule
- Lead and monitor activities in the home, around the neighborhood, and in the community
- Provide safe, reliable transportation as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and accountable — showing up on time, every time, is non-negotiable
- Compassionate, patient, and willing to take initiative
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a background investigation and complete required online training
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or group home settings is strongly preferred and will be reflected in starting pay
Schedule
- Weekday day shifts and rotating weekends (current primary need)
- 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts available
- Flexible scheduling based on mutual availability
