Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Technician to support mechanical design projects for semiconductor and other high-tech facilities. This role involves developing HVAC and mechanical system layouts, coordinating with engineers and other disciplines, preparing construction deliverables, and performing model reviews using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop HVAC and mechanical system designs and layouts.
- Create and coordinate Revit models, plans, sections, details, and P&IDs.
- Participate in code reviews and design coordination meetings.
- Resolve clashes and coordinate with other disciplines and field conditions.
- Review submittals and support construction documentation.
- Perform field surveys and provide technical guidance to junior designers.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Drafting & Design or related experience.
- 5+ years of HVAC/mechanical design experience.
- Experience in semiconductor or high-tech facility projects preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Good knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical design, and applicable codes and standards.
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
