We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the full-time position of Superintendent for our Service Department.
The primary objective of this position is to efficiently lead multiple crews to make small to medium commercial roof repairs, to find and fix leaks and generally provide roofing services. You’ll be charged with meeting daily job goals and delivering quality installation for our clients on time and on budget.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Read blueprints, plans and manage multiple crews.
- Evaluate condition and life expectancy of existing roof systems.
- Perform and oversee work with all types of roofing including single-ply and built-up systems.
- Meet daily job goals, provide job data, ensure the safety of our people and clients.
- Set layouts and strike lines.
- Help train less experienced employees to become more proficient in roofing work.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience and 3 years of commercial roofing experience.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good communication skills and a record of client interaction in previous positions.
- Contribution to job planning and performance measurement.
- Be on time as required by our clients, jobs and our management team.
- Valid driver’s license.
- US Citizen as required by many of our jobs.
Preferred, but not required experience:
- High school diploma or higher.
- Experience installing sheet metal and steep roofing installations.
- OSHA 10/30.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
