Responsibilities
- Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identities and issuing passes as needed.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to observe for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist with conflict management by calmly de-escalating situations and enforcing site policies.
- Support loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious behavior.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields required.
- Must have a valid Alabama Unarmed Guard Card.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must have your own cell phone with data and the ability to download apps for work.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment, fire watch, and security protocols.
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods throughout the shift.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
