We are seeking Afterschool Site Director (Middle School) who is responsible for the daily management and oversight of an after-school program. They ensure child safety, supervise staff, manage the site budget, and develop engaging educational and recreational activities. This role acts as the primary liaison between parents, school administration, and program staff. This includes the overall development, supervision, and adherence to program excellence and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Provide programmatic, fiscal, and overall compliance oversight related to relevant contracts and funders including but not limited to DYCD, NYCPS, NYS DOE, and ACS
Ensure the site complies with all state licensing, health, and safety regulations (e.g., Department of Health or SACC standards)
Direct the development of annual workscopes, rosters, schedules, etc. Monitor progress and negotiate changes with stakeholders
Be an active participant in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and utilize your knowledge and learning in your work
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Work, Public Administration, or a closely related field required.
Deep knowledge of and experience with afterschool compliance. Experience with DOE, DYCD, OCFS, and DOH regulations, is essential

Salary and Benefits:
Salary is $65,000-$75,000- commensurate with credentials and experience.
This position is fully in-person and does not offer any remote work. Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays (as needed); school holidays, and school recesses
