Rogers Stereo, a leader in automotive customization, is seeking an experienced Automotive Upholstery & Fleet Upfitting Technician to join our team in Greenville. We specialize in premium interior upgrades, including Katzkin leather installations, as well as commercial fleet vehicle upfitting. Experience with Katzkin leather kits and fleet accessory installations is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install Katzkin leather upholstery kits on a variety of vehicles.
- Remove and reinstall seats, trim panels, and interior components with precision and care.
- Install commercial fleet equipment, including shelving, storage systems, partitions, ladder racks, drawer units, and other van and truck accessories.
- Perform vehicle modifications for commercial and government fleet customers while ensuring proper fit, function, and safety.
- Diagnose and repair minor interior issues related to upholstery and fleet installations.
- Read and follow installation instructions, technical diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure every installation meets Rogers Stereo's high standards of quality.
- Collaborate with the sales and installation teams to meet customer expectations and project deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive upholstery, automotive accessories, fleet upfitting, or a related field.
- Experience installing Katzkin leather kits is highly preferred.
- Experience with commercial van and truck upfitting, including shelving, partitions, racks, and storage systems, is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of automotive interiors and hand and power tools.
- Ability to read technical instructions and installation diagrams.
- Excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components and accessories.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
