We are a small, driver-focused trucking company with 26 years in business, hiring an experienced Class A CDL driver for a regular refrigerated route between North Carolina and Omaha, Nebraska.
This position is typically seven days out followed by two days off. You will operate a 2025 manual-transmission tractor hauling refrigerated freight.

Pay
- $0.58 per mile base pay
- Additional $0.08 per mile bonus

Driver Responsibilities
- Safely transport refrigerated freight between North Carolina and Omaha
- Monitor refrigeration settings and trailer temperatures
- Complete thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Meet scheduled pickup and delivery appointments
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and trip paperwork
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, warehouses, and maintenance
- Report tractor, trailer, or refrigeration-unit concerns promptly
- Keep assigned equipment clean and properly cared for
- Follow DOT, FMCSA, food-safety, and company requirements
- Operate safely in changing traffic and weather conditions
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of two years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Experience operating a manual-transmission tractor
- Current DOT medical certificate
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to pass all required DOT drug and alcohol screenings
- Ability to remain out approximately seven days at a time
- Reliable and professional work history
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage the route with limited supervision
- Refrigerated freight experience preferred
