Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Dental Patient Care Coordinator to join our vibrant dental practice. Candidate must be professional, hard working, team-oriented and have a positive "Can do" attitude.
Experience in dental, sales, and customer service is desired for this position. Bilingual is perferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, providing exceptional patient service.
- Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software such as Softdent, ensuring optimal clinic flow.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
- Review patient documentation for completeness and accuracy, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards.
- Assist patients with intake procedures, explaining treatment plans, financial policies, and payment options clearly.
- Perform insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and medical billing tasks.
- Manage medical records and documentation review processes efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Support office management duties such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and maintaining organized patient files.
- Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate care plans and ensure smooth communication between clinical staff and patients.
- Utilize computer skills across platforms like Microsoft Office and dental software such as Softdent to streamline administrative workflows.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic environment is highly preferred; familiarity with dental terminology and clinic operations is essential.
- Knowledge of insurance verification
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and filing procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor and providing outstanding customer service.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
