Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated GM Master Tech to add to our automotive service team with expertise and enthusiasm. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automotive engine systems, including powertrain and diesel engines, utilizing advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics.
- Lead the repair and maintenance of vehicle electrical systems, wiring diagrams, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other electronic components.
- Conduct precise engine repairs, including overhaul, replacement, and troubleshooting of mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and manual handling techniques.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately diagnose electrical issues across various vehicle systems.
- Oversee alignment procedures, vehicle maintenance tasks, heavy lifting activities, and auto body repairs to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Supervise a team of technicians by providing technical guidance, training on new technologies like ADAS systems, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards for GM vehicles.
- Foster excellent customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and providing professional recommendations for vehicle care.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience as a master tech with a strong background in GM vehicles preferred. ASE Certification.
- Extensive hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics using industry-standard tools and software.
- Deep mechanical knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with automotive wiring diagram interpretation and advanced electronic system troubleshooting such as ADAS features.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining manual handling best practices.
