PLab Assistant
Location: San Antonio, TX 78247
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
PrideStaff is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Assistant to join a laboratory team in San Antonio. This position is responsible for receiving, sorting, labeling, and processing incoming laboratory samples while ensuring accurate documentation and data entry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and accession laboratory samples
- Verify sample information and maintain accurate records
- Perform data entry and maintain laboratory documentation
- Label and route samples to the appropriate laboratory departments
- Maintain an organized sample receiving area
- Follow laboratory procedures and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment is required
- Experience with specimen receiving, sample accessioning, or laboratory support preferred
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
