Title: Machinist Technician - Flex Pro Machine Shop

Focus: The Machinist Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used in manufacturing settings, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines. In addition, interpreting engineering drawings, setting up machines, and ensuring that finished products meet quality and safety standards. Also perform routine maintenance on machines, troubleshoot issues, and assist in the design and development of new products.

Operate various machine shop equipment including CNC and manual mills lathes, and other equipment.

Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluids, replacing filters, or doing other preventative maintenance actions.

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.

Prepare bills of material, specifications, and work orders.
