A combination of education and experience demonstrating a working knowledge of the duties, responsibilities and competencies of the Senior Software Developer may substitute for the qualifications listed.
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, OR closely allied field, AND:

Eight (8) years of experience in a complex information technology environment TO INCLUDE:

Six (6) years of experience developing and enhancing applications using C#, .NET, MS Entity Framework, or other high-level languages and tools.

Highly proficient in a major programming languages/frameworks, such as C#, .NET, MS Entity Framework.

Demonstrated experience applying software development methodologies, and leading design and implementation efforts at a senior level, including sound architectural and design decision-making across the full development lifecycle.

Experience developing web front-end applications using frameworks such as Blazor, Angular, React/Vite, or similar front-end frameworks.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and DevOps CI/CD practices, including designing and maintaining enterprise-scale CI/CD infrastructure using tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and multi-table queries, in support of application development.
-
Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) in a professional setting, with sound judgment to balance productivity gains against code quality, security, and accountability for final output.

Experience integrating AI capabilities into new or existing applications in advanced or innovative ways, such as building custom copilots, fine-tuning models, or embedding AI into workflow automation.

Advanced SQL skills, including query performance tuning, indexing strategy, execution plan analysis, and database schema design.

Ability to establish or contribute to team standards and guardrails for AI-assisted development, such as code review practices, data privacy considerations, and appropriate use policies for AI coding tools

Knowledge of the fundamentals of Enterprise Architecture.

Proficient in utilizing Microsoft 365 products, including Teams, Outlook, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, and others, with expertise appropriate to the responsibilities of the role.
