Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Small Parcel Delivery Driver to transport and deliver packages safely and efficiently to residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have strong time-management skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
· Pick up, transport, and deliver small parcels according to assigned routes and schedules.
· Load and unload packages safely and securely.
· Verify delivery information and obtain signatures when required.
· Use GPS and route-planning tools to ensure timely deliveries.
· Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and basic operational condition.
· Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
· Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, or delivery issues.
· Provide professional and courteous customer service.
· Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation.
Qualifications
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.
· Basic smartphone and navigation app proficiency.
· Previous delivery, courier, or driving experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
· Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and climbing stairs.
· Ability to work in various weather conditions.
· Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
Work Environment
· Local delivery routes
· Full-time, part-time, or contract opportunities available.
· May require weekend, evening, or holiday availability based on business needs.
Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
