Service Coordinator (Affordable) Park View Terrace | Poway, CA

What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a Service Coordinator to join our team at Park View Terrace in Poway, CA. In this role, you will identify community resources, organize resident training and outreach programs, serve as a liaison with outside social service agencies, and assist residents through property rehabilitation transitions.
This is a full-time position with full benefits. Pay range: $23.00 -$25.00 per hour
Schedule: Thursday - Monday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Outreach & Support: Identify, research, and establish relationships with reputable community organizations and agencies that offer vital resources to residents. Conduct outreach to connect individuals and families with needed assistance and serve as a resident advocate.
- Resource Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive resource guide/manual detailing available community programs and services. Create and distribute monthly activity calendars.
- Rehabilitation & Transition Support: Coordinate logistics and communications for residents during property rehabilitation projects, including assisting with moving materials, schedules, and temporary housing transitions. Serve as a liaison between residents, construction, and development teams.
- Community Events & Education: Plan, schedule, and facilitate monthly resident meetings, educational workshops, and training opportunities on various topics. Host guest speakers to address resident inquiries and needs.
- Compliance & Reporting: Prepare monthly reports documenting services provided, cases managed, and program effectiveness to ensure compliance with Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are (Requirements of the Position)
- 1+ years of administrative, social services, or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience working within affordable housing, Tax Credit (TCAC/LIHTC), or resident services programs is a plus.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer relations, interpersonal communication, and resident advocacy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, keep detailed records, and work independently.
- Solid problem-solving abilities and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Pool support and/or chemical monitoring experience preferred, but not required.
- Physically able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
