Position Summary
The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the day to day management of assigned contracts to provide quality services to the client by developing and implementing effective operational plans to meet the needs of the client as well as achieving the business-related objectives of the company, in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Regional Manager will be responsible for assigned contracts and management of direct reports, and generation of new and existing business development, including pricing, lead generation and contract mobilization. The role will report directly to the Regional Director of Operations
Essential Duties
- Enhance current business operations management with a focus on direct supervision and coaching of union and non-union technical staff. In some cases, act as the single point of client contact.
- Manage staff performance and coach/discipline as necessary, especially when initiatives are off-track, over-budget and/or behind-schedule, including holding individuals accountable, correcting performance, while fostering influential interpersonal relationships.
- Oversee project management, organizational, and time management skills of all staff, to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure all assigned contracts operate within P&L requirements and liaison with company Finance to measure, report and analyze financial performance, to ensure revenue and profitability goals are achieved.
- Lead new sales opportunities to include pricing, engineering staff development and oversight to ensure company are leading by industry standards.
- Meet and develop relationships with clients to extend and expand contracts.
- Maintains and promotes customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Oversee and direct the mobilization of new business and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, programs and contractual agreements.
- Create, distribute and maintain all necessary reports and documentation concerning the assigned contracts.
- Ensure assigned accounts adhere to company policies, procedures, programs and contractual agreements.
- Meet and develop relationships with union business partners to support harmonious labor relations and negotiate most favorable terms for company union personnel across the region.
- Ensure a “safety first” work environment and culture.
Minimum Requirements;
- Technical facilities working background and comfortable changing hats to liaison with CRE clients.
- Proven track record of sales generation and lead development.
- Ability to lead and motivate others.
- Organized, Proactive, Detail oriented.
- Independent thinker and leader.
- Persuasive, clear, and concise verbal and written communication skills driven by solid business logic.
- Strong analytical and financial skills anchored by natural, common sense thinking

Education/Training:
Required:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum of ten (10+) years facilities management experience.
- Minimum of prior five (5) years managing at least $20m of annual revenue.
- Minimum of five (5) years supporting business development pricing proposals, to include union and non union technical staff, in commercial and public entities, and CMMS technologies
- Expected travel 30%. Must have a valid driver’s license and personal mode of transportation.
- Working knowledge of OSHA and preference for OSHA 30 certification.
- Proficient in AI, to support use of various business software (MS Office suite, etc).
- Must have prior union negotiation experience with IUOE and service trades.
- Must have working knowledge of industry leading CMMS programs.
- Must be able to develop and deliver presentations to senior executives, clients and large groups with strong oral and written presentation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $160,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
