About Bailey & Bailey
Bailey & Bailey is a family-owned business with a variety of commercial properties, facilities, equipment, and waterfront assets that require ongoing maintenance and upkeep.
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Technician who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and taking pride in keeping facilities and equipment in excellent condition.
This is a diverse position where no two days are exactly alike. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and comfortable handling a wide range of maintenance projects.
What You'll Do
- Perform general building and property maintenance
- Complete drywall repairs, painting, and minor carpentry projects
- Perform basic plumbing and mechanical repairs
- Assist with facility improvements and renovation projects
- Maintain grounds and outdoor areas as needed
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and recommend solutions
- Support dock, marina, and waterfront maintenance projects
- Assist with boat and marine-related maintenance activities
- Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary
- Help ensure company properties remain safe, functional, and well-maintained
What We're Looking For
- Experience in general maintenance, facilities, construction, trades, or related fields
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Ability to perform physical work and lift materials as needed
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors throughout the year
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly valued:
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Drywall repair
- Plumbing
- Mechanical repair
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Fiberglass repair
- Dock or marine maintenance
- Equipment maintenance
- Property maintenance
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday
- Generally between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm with some flexibility on start and end times.
- Occasional flexibility may be required based on project needs
