Duties
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Manage computer networking tasks, including VPN setup and firewall configurations.
- Troubleshoot software issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades on client systems.
- Assist with desktop support, ensuring that all computer hardware is functioning properly.
- Utilize help desk tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira to track and resolve customer inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain effective communication with clients to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance IT infrastructure and improve overall service delivery.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on systems to prevent potential issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical support or IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of computer management, networking concepts (LAN), and IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting software issues across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience with desktop support tasks including hardware installations and repairs.
- Knowledge of BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira is preferred but not required.
