Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide almost full-time, Monday through Friday support to individuals in a home or community setting. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs, managing medication administration, and updating care plans accordingly
- Support with meal preparation, cooking nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs, and assisting with feeding when necessary
- Utilize patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe movement and positioning
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities while adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality
- Provide patient personal care assistance and support during medical appointments or community outings
- Perform light cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards in the living environment
Experience
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care is highly preferred
- Proven background in group home settings, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism is advantageous
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques including vital signs assessment and medication management
- Experience working with care plans and assisting with complex medical needs such as hospice or palliative care
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in manual handling, heavy lifting, or patient transfer methods is a plus
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
