GREAT BARRINGTON STORE ONLY
We are looking to hire a dedicated, detail-oriented team of coffee and smoothie enthusiasts to assist in the running of Guido's Cafe Rena.
Shifts: This position is Full-Time. Weekends and closing shifts are required.
Pay Range: $16-18.00/hr, commensurate with experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Interact with customers to take orders and assist them with the café menu options
- Make coffee, tea, smoothie, and juice drinks
- Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated. Maintain back stock areas and coolers
- Maintain smoothie/juice bar ingredients, coffee beans and milk/creamer supply
- Prepare and wash fruits and vegetables used for smoothie/juice
- Wash dishes and utensils when necessary
- Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health, and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices. Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Comfortable working closely with a team
- Ability to be upright and moving for long periods of time
- Ability to lower oneself to grasp objects
- Prior experience in a customer service role
- Prior barista experience is helpful
- Ability to lift and hold items weight up to 50 pounds
