Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service
- Handle retail sales transactions efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, food prep stations, and equipment to ensure food safety standards are met
- Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to support café operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards
- Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or café experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food preparation techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and customer service
- Must be available weekends and evenings
