Requirements:
- Current EMT or Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department, EMT experience required
- MUST have Epic experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA required)
- Experience obtaining vital signs, EKGs, splinting, wound care, specimen collection, and patient transport
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency department environment

Shift Length: Variable
Assignment: Contract 8 weeks, with opportunity for extension.
Pay: $25–$30/hour
Job Duties:
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care activities in the Emergency Department
- Obtain and document vital signs, EKGs, and patient observations
- Assist with splinting, wound care, specimen collection, and patient transport
- Prepare patient rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures and treatments
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record
- Support patient flow and ensure a safe, efficient care environment
- Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety procedures
