We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses to fill three contract positions: one dedicated 1:1 nurse and two for general nursing care. These roles are crucial in fostering a safe, supportive, and healthy school environment over the course of a rewarding short-term assignment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, and first-aid skills
- Comfortable working with students from elementary to high school ages
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- CPR and First Aid certification is required
Position Details & Responsibilities:
- ESY program runs from July 6th through July 30th, Monday through Thursday
- General nursing positions: 5 hours per day; 1:1 position: 4 hours per day
- Elementary schedule: 9:00am–1:00pm; Middle/High School schedule: 8:00am–12:00pm
- Provide direct nursing care, medication administration, and management of student health plans
- Attend to illnesses, injuries, and address urgent health needs on campus
- Serve as the primary health resource for students, staff, and parents during ESY programming
- Maintain accurate health records and document all care administered
- 1:1 nurse will deliver individualized support based on student-specific medical needs
