Requirements:
The CNC Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring CNC machinery used in the production of furniture components. This position ensures parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and according to quality standards while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities

Operate CNC routers, saws, drills, and related production equipment used in furniture manufacturing.

Load raw materials such as wood, plywood, MDF, laminates, or other materials onto machinery.

Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, blueprints, and measurement specifications.

Set up machines and adjust tooling as needed for production runs.

Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality standards.

Identify and report machine malfunctions, material defects, or production issues to supervisors or maintenance.

Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.

Maintain production records and complete required documentation accurately.

Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and housekeeping standards.

Assist with material handling, staging, and movement of finished products as needed.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
-
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous CNC operating experience in furniture, woodworking, cabinetry, or manufacturing preferred.

Ability to read measuring devices including tape measures and calipers.

Basic understanding of machine operation and production processes.

Ability to read blueprints and production drawings is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
