Overview
Sagebrush Construction is a growing company in the telecommunications space. We are actively seeking out individuals to fill our open equipment operator positions for our underground crews installing fiber optic cables. Experience is required. We are looking for individuals who do not mind travel, working in the elements, helping with occaisonal labor, and are willing to learn new skills. Work will mainly take place in Kalispell, with opportunities to work in Missoula and other surrounding areas in western Montana. Competitive pay based on expierence.
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles while pulling trailers.
- Some hand digging
- Operate power tools, such as but not limited to Sawzall, impacts, and drills.
- Operate mini excavators safely and efficiently.
- Communicating with team members.
- Greasing/fueling equipment daily.
- Read plans
Requirements
- Prior construction site experience or familiarity with construction processes is required
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of schematics are advantageous for supporting various trades.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and performing strenuous tasks daily.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving or heavy equipment operation certification is a plus.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
