TITLE OF POSITION: Network and Systems Specialist
STARTING DATE: Immediately
CLOSING DATE: Until Filled
Otsego Public Schools’ staff is the heart of the district, and we are looking to add a Network and Systems Specialist to our technology staff. Network and Systems Specialists support and maintain the network infrastructure and ensure network security.
Primary tasks (non-exhaustive list):

Provide technical support and customer service to teachers, staff, and students

Maintain and manage software systems
-
Ensure proper cybersecurity systems are in place and configured to ensure network and data security.

Ensure all servers are up-to-date with required software patches, updates, and releases.

Monitor and maintain network connectivity, performance, and security across all district sites.
Education / Experience:
-
Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related area from an accredited college or university, or IT Certifications.

Experience with collecting, maintaining, analyzing and evaluating organizational data.

Experience with supporting, configuring, and maintaining networks and servers.
