Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Millworker / Cabinet Maker / Scenic Carpenter, where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will bring architectural visions and creative projects to life. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on custom millwork, cabinetry, scenic elements, and restoration projects across residential, commercial, and theatrical settings. You will be instrumental in transforming technical drawings into stunning finished products while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and install cabinetry, scenic elements, and millwork components.
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to take a project from frame to finish.
- Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and other construction materials.
- Measure and mark materials precisely for cutting, assembly, and installation processes.
- Fabricate custom wood products such as cabinets, trim, and decorative elements for commercial projets.
- Install fixtures including cabinets, doors, moldings, fixtures, and hardware with attention to detail for proper fit and finish.
- Perform restoration work such as re-siding, water damage repair, mold remediation, plastering, or rebar installation as needed on various projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to power tool safety protocols; perform heavy lifting when required.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects according to specifications.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry (including residential and trim carpentry), and woodworking.
- Skilled in operating woodworking machines such as CNC routers or other fabrication equipment.
- Hands-on experience with construction plans interpretation and technical drawings is essential.
- Ability to safely operate power tools for woodworking while following all safety guidelines; experience with power tool safety certifications preferred.
- Strong understanding of wood construction materials such as plywoods, MDFs, veneers along with metal studs or other framing components.
- Previous work on construction sites demonstrating reliability in heavy lifting tasks and working at heights or confined spaces if necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly during fabrication or installation processes; handyman experience is advantageous.

Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour
