CenTex Injury and Worker’s Comp specializes in treating injured workers. Our Licensed Massage Therapists play a vital role in supporting physical therapists and physical therapy assistants, ensuring patients have a positive rehabilitation experience. You can learn more at https://fcwtexas.com.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient care, anatomy, and medical terminology, particularly in orthopedics and outpatient settings.
Our clinic hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00am until 5:30pm, with a half day on Friday from 8:00am until noon.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physical therapists, PTAs, and clinical staff to align massage therapy with overall treatment goals.
- Provide evidence-based techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and sports massage.
- Adjust treatment plans based on patient condition, progress, and tolerance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions per clinic policies and state regulations.
- Communicate patient concerns or changes in condition to clinical staff.
- Educate patients on massage benefits for recovery, posture, muscle relaxation, and stress relief.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms, gym areas, and equipment per infection control standards.
- Assist with clerical tasks (filing, scanning, and scheduling appointments).
Qualifications
- Required: Texas Licensed Massage Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Preferred experience in orthopedics, acute care, or outpatient settings
- Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient environment
- Previous healthcare experience is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and sitting
- Ability to lift/move items up to 30 lbs occasionally
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
