CNC Machine Operator – Swiss Lathe / Turning Department
Location: Clearwater, FL
Pay Rate: Based on experience + shift differential
Shift: 2nd & 3rd Shift Available (Training on 1st Shift)
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators with Swiss Lathe and precision machining experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience producing quality parts, and the ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
Candidates must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety, quality, and attendance.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Swiss-style lathes and precision machining equipment.
- Produce high-quality parts while maintaining strict quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
- Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed.
- Follow production processes and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous CNC machining experience preferred.
- Experience with Swiss lathes, turning equipment, or similar precision machinery.
- Strong blueprint reading skills.
- Experience using precision measuring tools.
- Ability to produce quality parts consistently.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be comfortable working 2nd or 3rd shift.
