Delta Fabricating is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter / Designer to join our team. In this role, you create models and shop drawings per customer specifications. You will also assist in other activities that support manufacturing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Create clear, complete, and accurate models and drawings that meet all customer requirements while following Delta Fabricating standards
- Design jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing
- Create routings for manufacturing
- Completing engineer change request forms
Qualifications:
- Associate or Technical degree preferred (Computer Aided Drafting and Design)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, this position works directly with customers
- Proficient in drafting and design
- Good mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Experience in solid modeling software – Autodesk Inventor preferred
- Experience using ERP software – ECI M1 preferred
- Other duties as assigned by Engineering Supervisor
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of standing or sitting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
