Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
- Dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills; able to work collaboratively with team members.
